Corksport braided SS oil lines, thumbs up
Since my Jspec conversion I have had a couple of oil leaks at my cooler that I was having trouble chasing down. The first leak was at the oil cooler temp valve, which was fixed easily with a new washer, but it turned out that the top line going into the cooler was leaking as well. It was the back of the fitting where the hose met the fitting so you never saw exactly where the hose was leaking (well until I pulled the hose out) but there was always new oil dripping off the hose and saturating the top of the cooler.
So I called up Cork Sport, ordered and received the new stainless steel oil cooler lines within 3 working days.
Not only were they $40 cheaper than the Mazdatrix SS re-placements, and the two SS lines were cheaper than the just the single dealer OEM upper line, but they are of great quality and fit.
Just letting everyone know. Thumbs up on Cork Sport.
And don't re-use your old oil cooler lines when doing a Jspec conversion.

Oh yeah; about the oil cooler lines. I got the mazdatrix ones. Do yours have rubber sleeves to protect the hose? On mine there is about a 6 inch piece of rubber hose at both ends, on the outside of the SS braided part, to protect the bend I'd guess. Seems like a logical idea, considering the ends near the cooler need to make a nasty turn to get through. Just curious if all the lines have this feature. Maybe that is why they are $40 more.

I was surprised at the price as well. I was intending to just buy from Mazdatrix (as I need a new inner shift boot and a drivers windsheild defroster vent as well), but I gagged on the price of just the cooler lines($154.70 + tax and S&H). For some reason I remembered even the Mazdatrix price being lower.
Maybe it went up recently.
But as you said $40 buys a lot of **** (well I get free spice channel, so I don't buy **** forsay, but that is another thread).

It really sucks when you buy something and then a few weeks later you find out you could of gotten it for "A LOT" less (see I used the correct spelling; hehehe).
I got SS oil lines - lost $40
I bought a cover-it garage for my car, two weeks before they went on sale - lost $280
I bought the Bonez air filter kit before I found this website - lost $100
$420 I have lost just due to poor research and bad decision making. Now that could of got me a full blown hooker.
