And the Revolution...
I mailed him a few months back about a set, he told me he had one left and he would check for some housings. I never heard back from him and mailed him 2 or 3 times and never heard anything back. I wonder if something happened to him.

Actually, as much as I like Icemark, I have to say that he hasn't been responding to me, either. I've been needing a rebuilt idiot cluster/clock for a while, and the last response I got from him was probably 2 months ago or more. I've sent hiim 3 PM's in the meantime with no reply, which is unusual. Even if you give the benefit of the doubt that the forum database fuckup ate one of them, or even 2...but not all of them. And it's not like I was asking dumb questions that warranted no reply, or wanting a free part...I was perfectly willing to pay him for his work, I just need the friggen part.
Yet, I have seen him recently active on rx8club as well as here.
Oh well. In the meantime I have "tried" to resolder 2 different idiot clusters attempting to get the clocks to keep time, and neither one works.

I also pm'd him several weeks ago and had not heard from him. He probally has been flooded with pm's and is overwhelmed. I guess he has been overwhelmed with parts/work if it is taking a while to get returned. I will just be patient and wait for a response though I would like to get some work done.
Who else rebuilds wiper switched and flasher CPU's?

I pm'ed him yesterday asking about some small parts that I had paid for with Paypal a few weeks ago. No response yet. I figured due to the time of year he's probably taking a vacation, especially if he's working his *** off. I'm in no hurry for the parts, so I'm being patient.
Oh and RR, if this helps, I have re-soldered a few idiot clusters and found that if you only re-heat and flow additional solder to the joints, it often isn't very effective. I use a solder sucker and remove as much old stuff as I can and re-solder with fresh. If still no bueno, then perhaps a dried-up capacitor or bad crystal.
