A/C Removal....help

A/C Removal....help



so first thing I took out is what I thought is the condesor im not to sure now as were i disconnected the shorter of the two pipes doesnt look to be related to the A/C also I think my A/C compressor and power steering pump have been removed already by the P.O



where that paper towel is sticking out of is were i disconnected the shorter of the two lines coming off what I think is the condesor.

in the service manual it says the condensor is under/infront of the radiator tho and that was the only thing in that area that looked like the condenser wtf???

just re install the oil cooler lines and top off your oil since you must have lost some oil. new lines are expensive and not really worth the price. i have seen them for like 600$

Did you just cut the lines to get it out? If so, then you need new lines.

Why it's in German... I have no idea, probably a bug on their website, but I have these and their awesome.

You'll still need your large Banjo Bolts! Hope you didn't mess those up either...

A bolt with a pin hole through it to allow fluid to pass. Wikipedia it.

You sir messed up when you cut the lines. Never, ever cut or break something to remove it. You just never know if you will need it again, some one else might need it, or in your case... You wrecked the wrong item.

Skip the banjo bolts. You can probably fix this if you re-install the cooler and hook it up to the framis valve. The oil pressure will be reduced to the point that a couple of zip-ties will work. Not the preferred repair, but for you it will get you by so you can driving.

Not sure if you have anything like a hydraulic shop up in BC, but they will build you lines for decent prices usually. Hosepower, forklift places, etc...

Looks like your engine has had a mazda rebuild too (judging by the blue service tag under the CAS).

You need to lay off the weed, judging by the 420 in your username.

Yes. That is indeed the oil cooler. The first clue should have been the OIL coming out when you disconnected the lines.

DO NOT START THE ENGINE WITH THESE LINES REMOVED!!!


Secondly, if you had A/C, cutting the lines is a VERY BAD IDEA... Freon will escape at a temperature of about -40 deg F (Yes, NEGATIVE 40) ad result in serious frostbite damage to your hands or whatever it sprays on.
