Buying an engine....

i have a 87 Rx-7 GXL Shell and looking to drop a 13b single turbo motor into it

at first i was looking at tiger japanese, and i'm not hearing a lot of good things about them, where else could i find a complete swap including tranny for my shell?

i've been searching around already on here and else where, thats how i know about tiger Japanese not being very good, before joining the site i was gonna buy from them

I bought mine from tiger and it arrived in fine condition. I have no complaints. We'll see how the engine holds up though.

JSPEC motors are hit or miss. Some will say it worked fine, others it was DOA. In my case, I bought a DOA. If it sat for a month then you're OK. Mine... probably sat for a decade.

i have been doing some more reading around the website and came across rotary shack

now, i read through their thread about purchase feedback, and they have a lot of good feedback, on parts and motors in general

i'd like a little more feedback on motors though from them, i know they supply great parts, but right now, the motor is the more important part, what you all think about Rotary Shack and their motors?

$1000 for a 87/88 13b turbo motor seems cheap, but if it runs beautifully i'm all for it

Feedback?!?
