I have the same problem with my 86 NA. After around 4500 rpms it smoke like crazy till I let off. I asked a while back about it but didn't get many answers. Maybe my oil cooler lines are bad also?
Does any one else have this problem?

Well, my TII does not smoke at all, nor do I notice any significant loss of oil, but I DO know that I have somewhat leaky oil lines. Every time I bring it in for a service/tuneup, I clean the "mirror" (lower cover), and I get oil stains about a week later....turns out my oil lines are leaking around the fittings at the end...slowly, but leaking...

Let the car warm up, keep it in neutral, rev to 4000 rpm, if the car smokes your oil seals are going. Time for a rebuild.

The leak is probably from your oil Pan... the gasket gets old and needs to be replaced... it'l cost you like 5 bucks.. well that is what happend to me anywayse..
