Broke Horn.

My horn doesnt work anymore, Could this be because I took out one of the stock amps when I was rewiring my car stereo(the front right one under the glove bocks). or does it deal with something else? Like something i couldve knocked loose? I ran new speaker wire throughout my whole car to bypass the stock system and got riud of the amp because I thought it was useless. Any ideas? I want to get this fixed.

Thanks,
-Ian

The horn doesn't have anything to do with the amp (as far as I know). Check and double-check all horn connections, doesn't the horn go with the ECU?

Mine was faulty, and I was told that the connectors which control it sometimes go bad. There's a box you can pull out from under the dash that's under the side panel. Once I cleaned out the old soldering joints and re-did them, the horn started working fine.

Of course, if it stopped working when you were playing with stero bits, it could be related to that. Just sharing what worked for me.

90% chance its the relay in the CPU. Pull the unit, the resolder all the major connections. This has been covered, so a search will pull up the details. Odds are this will also fix any other weird problems you are having as well.
