ugh frustration, its getting late.. time to take a breathe, and stop.. minor clearance issues putting s4 pump housing on s5, i should have just sourced a s5 TII housing.. but i bought a new water pump, and like the idea of the rad cap.

ic.. yeah i ended up with a S4 pump housing since it was local.. ended up needing a s4 pump for that, no biggy, nice to get a new water pump out of the way,.. just some minor tweaking of s5 parts to fit, and I have no regrets putting teh S4 parts on my s5 at the moment. I however spent more than i wanted too though on this stupid lil problem lol. Car runs alot cooler now, but that could just be from the new thermostat and coolant.

I don't either, and they are brittle as **** too after 20yrs. Mine looks as if it is going to explode. I'll be replacing it real soon.
