Bridge port on just the exhaust ports motor gurus plzzzz

Bridge port on just the exhaust ports motor gurus plzzzz

Im rebuidling my motor, and I ordered used good condition housings that come bridge ported on the exhaust. the thing is do I need to port out the intake ports on the iron plates to match the exhaust ports? if so how much do I port outt to match or go with the massive exhaust ports? can I just run with stock intake ports and huge bridgeported exhaust? what would that do?? would I lose torq? anyone have abridge port template??? hmmm what should I do guys

Bridgeported exhaust ports? The intake is where the bridgeport should be and the exhaust should just be opened up....

Uh, you can't bridgeport an exhaust port. They are peripheral. The only ports you can bridge are the intake ports.

oops. I got the housing on ebay I gues sit came off a bridge ported motor. But yeah the exhaust ports are opened up alot compared to stock. So i think ineed to find a shop to bridge port the iron plates to match the exhaust ports..

Do some research on bridgeporting before getting it done. If anything you probably just want to streetport the motor. But you don't have to do anything at all.

Keep in mind that a bridgeport means a full standalone EFI system and a lot harder to tune. If you have a turbo car you need a large turbo to support it (TO4R, GT40R, T78, etc.) and all associated upgrades. If it is an NA you will need to build a custom intake (ITBs or the like).
