Boost sensor gauge wiring

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew off hand which wires from the boost sensor on a 88 turbo II end up at the gauge?

The gauge lists 2 wires from the sensor, signal and ground.

The wires on the 4 wire connectors are:

Thick black with white stripe (pretty sure this is 12v switched power)

Brown with red strip? Sensor signal to cluster?

Grey with white stripe? Sensor ground to cluster?

Black wire? Ground to chassis?

If anyone knows that would be help full. Trying to get my stock boost gauge working for my 1jz swap

The Brown/Red feeds BOTH the ECU and the guage.

5v correct?

not sure if anything needs to be wired into the "boost sensor ground" at the cluster?

it's on the black connector, #8 (page 15-26 body electrical manual)

The gnd wire off the boost gauge needs to go to ............ground.

All ECU's should have a 5vdc ref voltage output. Even a halftech, mickeymoose, powerless FC, elektrix teck or whatever. The boost sensor on a series four won't work without the 5vdc ref voltage. IF the unit your using does not have a 5vdc output......get another make.
