Bondo?

My "mazda" emblem in the rear cracked so i took it off, and there are 4 little holes with tabs in them that hold the emblem. Can those holes be hidden with a little bit of bondo and some paint?

I've used Bondo to fill holes left by some emblems, but I don't recommend it. Plastic bondo doesn't have the strength needed.

The best method to fill holes left by emblems would be to weld them closed and grind them smooth.

Yep thats what i did, bondo will never hold, if you cannot weld the holes you might just try to use fiberglass, that will give more strenght to it, but welding it is really the way to go.

I have seen some nasty bondo filled holes.. it's just asking for trouble. The way to go about is to have the holes filled with a filler stick and TIG welder. It is a little time consuming, but will produce the best results. Mild grinding, sanding, and primering will be necessary, but it will produce much longer lasting results.

I am not a fan of bondo. AT ALL.

You can also "air-weld" them with a MIG, using a copper "spoon" behind the hole to support the weld bead.
