bogging/hesitation when not in boost
I have a 87 Turbo, i have a new engine with about 7000 miles. But anyways when i drive the car, like at a steady cruise it would start cutting out, and bog down, but when I go into boost it fixes itself till i start cruising or lightly touch the gas pedal. It has me stumped. It never used to do it before then out of no where it started doing it. No vac leaks, I adjusted the tps, did the timing. New plugs, fuel filter, took out the fuel pulsation dampener, cleaned the fuel pump strainer. I don't know whats wrong with the damn thing. But its really getting on my nerves. other than that it drives perfect no loss of power or oil or coolant.
No emissions, no oil dribblers, I have an safc, and avcr. If someone can point me in some direction it would be appriated. Thanks for your time.

Sounds like the TPS, as usual.
ill give you two ways, i recomend the volt meter way.

Use a volt meter it should be within thies specs
----------Closed--------------Full Throttle(WOT)
Narrow: -.8-1.2K Ohms ----------4.0-6.0k Ohms
Full: ---- .6- .9k Ohms --------------3.4-5.1K Ohms
Unplug the connector and turn the screw untill you read 1k Ohms
Dont lose the small nut on the end of the screw.

My 87 Turbo has the exact same problem. I thought it was the fuel pressure regulator so I got a Greddy one and it seemed like it fixed it (the hesitation only came at about 4000 rpm but then it got progressively worse. I was thinking it was air/fuel mixture as well. Did you figure this problem out because I want my car to run fast again.

sorry to double post but the reason i believe its air/fuel mixture is because i have a air/fuel ratio gauge on my dash. when i am at idle the gauge reads anywhere from 12:1 - 13:1. but when i touch the gas the gauge maxes out to 18:1.... definitely never used to do that.
