Before and after: gutted cats to DP/MP...
TII Mods:
-rebuilt motor with 60k N/A housings and 9:4 rotors (3K miles)
-RB street-ports (extended a little)
-ported WG
-FCD
-cleaned/flow tested 550cc injectors
-K&N drop in filter
-Greddy Type-S BOV
-formerly with gutted cats
-boosting 10psi
So,
I got a Corksport 3" DP/MP combo from a local guy for $100.
After seeing how massive 3" piping really is, I was a bit skeptical of it fitting to my stock TII cat-back. Well, it did fit in the stock location, meaning that the bolt holes are the same width apart... But there is like a 5mm gap on the top and the bottom of where the 3" MP meets with the stock 2.5" (or whatever) Y-pipe, LOL. So aside from the MASSIVE exhaust leak, I'm really diggin' the upgrade.
One of my disapointments after finishing my TII rebuild etc. was that I had poor turbo spool before 4k RPM's. That problem is pretty much solved. Also I can hear my turbo MUCH better now. You can hear it softly whistling when you play around with the throttle without even boosting. It's almost cooler than my Greddy Type-S, lol.
The power increase is NICE. I'd say around 15hp, BUT with quicker spool AND (suprisingly) better top end power.
It's pretty quick now.
It's funny too because my Dad is NOT happy about the noise so he's willing to let me borrow money to buy the cat-back that I need to finish my exhaust!!!
What do you guys think I should I get? (price is important)
I'm thinking about the cheap SS Autochrome... If I were rich I'd get the dual RB, but it's just too expensive.

SS Autochrome is loud, the single exit one. They have a dual too, that is not loud, but don't quote me on that. You might want to search the forum. A used RB usually goes for 200-250 in the forum and in ebay. In ebay you may find other used dual exhaust from japan goin for less than the used RB. I got a jasma exhaust for like 190 shipped, starts at 2.75" to two1.8" to two big straight throw mufflers and finished with 4' tips, looks and sound great, so just be patien..
