Bangs on deceleration not tps

So I've gone through everything I can think of, TPS is at 1,014Ω and 4,658Ω WOT, I've just replaced the spark plugs and pulled them to make sure they are firing, new fuel, 10oz of premix, the engine is rebuilt, new fuel filter, new injectors orings, no vac leaks, and everything as far as I know is the same as when it was fine 2 days ago.

I don't understand what is going on the only thing I did to it was adjust the TPS a night ago because I had put a intercooler on (na car) for ***** and gigs and ofc felt the power drop ever so slightly so I messed with the Idle screw in the top of the TB amd had been running the intercooler for about a week then yesterday school started so I had checked over everything on my car and adjusted the TPS and Idle screw properly and took the intercooler off (not to get flammed for having a intercooler on na car) and went to sleep I then woke up to the RPMs bouncing and every time I would decel it would pop like crazy between 2.3k-3.3k and jerk the car the free revs would not drop smooth either, it would pop and kinda slowly drop after catching a few times, so idk im lost now.

In short car is popping and jerking on decel, TPS is in great condition, plugs new, blah blah everything is good feels like misfire

Have you checked the variable resistor on the passenger strut tower?

I have not, is there any specific way to test that?

was the car running fine before your little intercooler "experiment"?

also, you mentioned messing with idle adjustments while you had the intercooler on it, so your intake tract is now vastly different to what it was then. are you sure you remembered to put everything back together correctly on the intake tract?

So funny enough I fixed it by getting mad at it and slapping the TPS sensor so im assuming the TPS connector was just wacked out somehow, only issue now is the car is sorta sluggish but I'm assuming that's only because the tps is till slightly out of wack and it will probably need to be re-adjusted as everything was set before the car had broken in after the rebuild a few months ago.
