YES...another TPS thread...sorry

ok so i took off my intercooler and got to my TPS but i need to find out whats wrong with it. the car is off and it reads 6.5k ohms. i cant turn the car on though because my intercooler is off...but i cant get to my tps when the intercooler is on. maybe im just doing something wrong here but im kinda stuck. can i get my tps wires to move to one side or the other maybe???

the problem is my car bucks when accelerating hard in 3rd gear or above. after some reading i am coming to the conclusion that its probably my TPS. im hoping i can adjust it and not have to replace it.

any help would be much appreciated

Thanks,
-Matt

Factory service manual. Read, spec, adjust.

You don't need the intercooler on to adjust the TPS. You don't run the engine while you're adjusting it.

Or search.

yeah i guess ill just have to get the intercooler off quickly before the car cools down. from what i have heard the car has to be warm to adjust it correctly. is this right?
