Bad alternator?
I've read other posts, but just wanted to verify that perhaps this could be the problem.
90 GTU. The car runs great until about 15 minutes of driving after completely warmed up. The idiot lights in the center dash all light up (indicating something with the voltage), and the volt gauge will drop slowly down to what I'm guessing is around 12. Occasionally, the idiot lights will turn off and the voltage will click back up to where it's supposed to be.
I thought maybe it was belt slippage, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Bad alternator? I figured if it was a bad voltage regulator the volts would be spiking higher instead of lower, but.. new voltage regulator means new alternator anyway right?

same thing happened to mine.. contact silverrotor... see if he still has some fd alts left. go that route, its silly to get a new crappy amp one when for a little more you could upgrade to the fd one.
