rear end bushing install
#2
edit: I just reread your post, and I'm not sure if I answered what you were looking for, so sorry if that's wrong.
The only bushings that I replaced on the rear (because they were the only rear bushing in the Energy Suspension bushings kit) were the sway bar end link bushings, the sway bar mount bushings, and the control arm bushings. The sway bar end link bushings burned out very easily, and the new ones slipped in easily. The sway bar mount bushings are just held on with a clamp, so those are simple. But the control arm bushings wouldn't burn all the way through. I eventually took the control arms to a shop and had those pressed out, and the new ones pressed in.
The front of the rear control arm (I think it's also called the trailing arm) connects to the subframe at a pivot point closer to the center of the car, and at a control link towards the outer side of the car (I'll see if I can find a pic or diagram). The kit didn't include anything for the control links, so I reused those. But the pivot point is where the large bushings needed to be replaced, requiring the press.
