Bad alt?!

hey everyone, my charge light came on tonight, could that be caused by a change in air temp. outside? I have a 88NA, it has a new(er) alt. in it, its an acdelco part. Dunno when it was installed, but it looks pretty new. But here's the thing, I have a yellow cap in there and its reading about 14volts, when the charge light comes on it doesn't move. I can flick on the headlights and everything and it's A okay. But here's the weird part. The left side turn signal's aren't working. And I know the switch is good. Icemark sent me out a rebuild. And inspected the wiring myself, and it looked ok for 16year old wiring.

I know I kinda threw all my electric problems into one post, but some help would be great.

Obvious but did you check the bulbs for the turn signals?

Well when one of my turn signal lights went out up front the rear turn signal hyperblinked. Maybe that happened with you causing it to burn out faster. Why dont you try switching the bulbs on the left and right sides and see if you still have that problem.
