Aye Cap'in, I got a leaker!(cold morning flooding)

i watched pirates ok, let it go....

anyway,
have a 88 rx7 n/a with a 91 n/a engine swapped into the 88's wiring
so for all intents and porposes i have an 88, electrical ecu wiring injectors ect. all 88

now my car likes to flood. it isnt low compression or i would have had a hell of a time putting out 165 whp on stock ports.
now it only really likes to flood on cold morning starts (55f or less)
now i have a fuel cut off switch, i rev the engine to about 3k until it dies to purge the remaining fuel,
and i also have the 3b or 3c pin removed from the ecu so it wont use as much fuel on start up.

so it works like a charm in mild-warm weather, in cold weather it has nothing.
any ideas?

anybody?
i wonder if my afm may be sending a cold air reading to the ecu causing it to dump fuel.
it tried to start today, it let out a massive backfire and didnt start, so i toggled the switch to on for a second and vuala flooded! enen though the pump only ran for a second.
the switch will kill the car so i know its ok, and the car runs like a champ so i know that the engine=good. so why is my ecu dumping fuel?

ok guys, any thoughts or ideas? maybe the charcoal canister has a bad filter and its putting too much fuel back into the block? maybe the afm is sending a too cold signal, maybe a bad ecu, whatever just throw out ideas.

yes check the thermosensor on the waterpump housing. use the factory service manual check procedure and see if it's putting out the proper voltage under the right conditions
