BTW, you never answered whether you cleaned and lubed the actual valves and port runners. This and reusing the gaskets may be at fault for your 6PI not working (assuming you're getting the right backpressure).
Re-read it again and yeah I didn't mention anything about that. I posted a thread about cleaning/lubing the sleeves and was told by someone wiser than I that....

"The lube is just oil from the reversion of the intake charge. They sleeves are to be installed dry into clean bores."

So that's what I did.

The exact opposite of then you need vacuum to make it work.

I guess you can't explain why the vacuum chamber is used (and still allows the required systems to operate) on FD's then? Especially when the manifold pressure is above ambient, but the actuators require vacuum to operate. Haven't we debated this before anyways? Try it before you rule it out.

Vacuum chamber I referenced:

New actuator gaskets FTW!!!! Ports now work.

I got mine today after school and waited a few hours to let the car cool down and put the new gaskets on. It took me about an hour to get the old gaskets off as I only had wd-40 and elbow grease. I cleaned them up a bit with some emery cloth and put them back on the car. Car runs great over 4k and i have no complaints.

I want to thank everyone that replied. I certainly would not have gotten as far as I have without help from the 7 club.

And to anyone else with the same issue don't leave out replacing the gaskets. They're only $5 for a pair and make a big difference. In my case it was the weakest link.

Keywords for future searching....

aux auxiliary ports stuck won't open no power over 4k 3800 rpm rpms rpm's split air pipe

Mike I am not arguing with you on this again. I know why you used a vacuum chamber and I know why the FD is used... both for different reasons.

I do not agree with your approach, and think that it is way too much work, you have to add extra parts, and has questionable consistent actuation, so again I am not going to argue with you on this.
