Appraise my T2

Appraise my T2
Hey guys, I found a cosmo that looks not too shabby for cheap with a 20b so I want to see what approximately my car is worth/could be worth.
Car:
1990 RX7 T2
151000 km's (90k mi), all highway (minus last 4k kms)
babied, winter stored
second owner
Pictures:
The good:
S5 N/A rotors
ABS Delete
GB One piece headlights (these ones http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/1487/img4227h.jpg)
Innovate LM-1WB
RB Full exhaust
HKS Intake w/new filter
The bad:
Blew engine (side seal/apex as well). Rotary aviation rebuild kit w/atkins side seals.
Center console had brake fluid left in it, leaked and tore up carpet inside as well as ate threw screws holding it down. New one on the way
Drivers side seat needs to be re-upholstered
Steering wheel is pretty worn too
So basically, I just want to know how much it's worth as is and how much with the bad fixed. Keep in mind that there's barely anyone (by barely I mean maybe 10 people) in my province that have the slightest clue about rotaries.

~$1500 with the blown motor
~$5000-6000 with a proper built T2 motor and putting it back to as near stock as possible. the more the car is unmolested the higher the resale value will be. also clean up the little bits as much as possible, i can't stand it when people don't vacuum and clean their cars prior to trying to sell them, it really does hurt the resale value.
stock turbo II's in good condition are getting very difficult to find. you may like the n/a rotors but they are not meant to be in there and are probably one of the main reasons why it is now dead.

That is a very nice S5 Turbo. To echo what Karack says, that is getting to be very rare. Also, don't sell the car when it is broken, incomplete or disassembled (or dirty) unless you want to get hosed. Make it right and sell it right.
I couldn't personally value it sight unseen for a couple of reasons-distance and potential rust.
Stored in the winter does not necessarily mean no rust. To me northern cars are always harder to work on and potentially rusty. I do realize that in most of the US, this is a fact of life.
Regarding the 'how much is it worth' discussion being a violation, I'm pretty sure that the prohibition is for the For Sale section. It is definately a violation when some one puts up an item or a car and says, make me an offer or how much would you pay.
I cannot imagine why this discussion could be a violation. Although it might not belong in the technical section, this is the section where there would be the most lively discussion from a cross section of knowledgeable members.

You're really hurting yourself with the bastard engine in there.
Ifyou put a stock rebuild back in there and repalce the screwed up center console, as long as everything worked I'd say $6000 if the paint is good.
I agree with Karack on this one. It's hard to find a nice stock S5 Turbo.
I bought an almost bone stock 2nd owner 91 Turbo w/ 81K on it over a year ago for $5000.
The paint needs a little work and it needed a clutch. The ABS module started leaking, and I found a tiny bit of rust, but I think I paid a fair price considering I haven't seen any other 91's for sale in the area around here besides N/A's.
The right person will pay the right price.

well a good comparison is there is a very clean VERY low mile TII on ebay right now sitting at $6k but it has slightly over 10k original miles. regardless things are going to break with age regardless of miles so i really don't see that one selling for much more than a very clean very well taken care of car.
we all know that even a car with 10k miles but at this age you could touch the vents and they will snap off with a simple touch, for example. i would actually prefer having a car that has been driven versus sitting in the garage waiting for the gremlins to expose themselves as you drive it.

one dollar bob. but seriously I would say it depends on the market you are in. Here it would be hard to get 500-1000. not running and the (fear of rotary factor)
