so are RA seals good or bad damnit! If they are bad does anyone want to use their mazdacomp membership to buy me some seals and I'll through in some extra cash for the time spent?
sorry to bring back a dead thread but I've put off buying apex seals for this very reason. if I could join mazdamotorsports.com I would have by now and bought some dame seals as it would only be like 20 bucks more than RA's seals but I am not in any racing team

RA seals = harder than OEM
They are very strong and hard and harder to break, BUT they cause faster and more wear on housings than OEM or Atkins. So it's kind of a give-and-take situation.
Also, if you're running boost don't use the RA springs, use Atkins or OEM.

ok so what about atkins.....I was hearign that they are weak and will give under some abuse. I am going to be porting my motor and maybe doing the supercharging ala 88integraLS with the lysholm if all works out for him. So would a moderate amount of boost be okay on some atkisn seals?
