Apex N1 Dual Exaust

After researching a variety of exausts, including Greddy, Seabring, HKS, racingbeat I think I am going to go with the Apex N1 dual. Price wise it is the middle of the road but I like the dual look and seems to me like the function is there too.

My question is have any of you had any first hand experience with this system? Noise level? Power gains? A good dual system alternative? Shank you.

I have the N1 single. Nice and loud. The dual I have heard is pretty hairy, noise wise.

The dual is extremely loud without the silencers, and is still slightly above average with them.

Even on a TII? I wish I knew what everyone thinks is really loud, lol. Anyone happen to have sound clips on the N1 on a TII?

How would it compare to both stock mufflers having big holes in them?

I heard one on turborotor's car and it was really loud, even at cruising speeds at lower rpms. I don't have any clips, but I can say it's a lot louder than a RB system.

As far as power gains go, a cat-back will net you quite a bit on a turbo, with the cats removed (or at least the pre-cats), you are looking at a 30+ hp gain. I don't know how much of an increase you'd see on an N/A.

The N1 dual is a good choice because you get the same gains as the single with less noise.

Yeah I would say its a good buy, just make sure you get it from rx7store.net and not rx7.com because its about $100 cheaper at the store I believe.

Loud, very loud. I have the N1 Duals with a Bonze hiflow cat and a 2.5" downpipe. I used to wear earplugs on long road trips. My damn ears woudl ring and I would have a headache. But with sileners in place and the windows up. It is like a normal car.

The silencers take the tips from 4.5" to 2". Also one side note. This exhaust does not exit straight out the back. The are angled outwards several °. Kinda weird at first but it really dosn't bother me.

I also have the N1 duals with no cats I thought it was going to be a lot louder than it is. I am very happy with the sound, quality, and apperance.

At 3k-rpm it is the deepest sound. Above that it has a nice scream.

Does it get louder with or without the cats on.
