That just looks like a copy of the cusco lower arm bar. I'm sure it helps, but how much is the real question. Just like the cusco, it mounts on the inner bolts of the mounts for the front lower arms to increase rigidity. I'm more fond of the way Mazdaspeed designed their lower arm stiffener bar, that actually replaces the mounts entirely along with the bar.

Can't say how well it'd work but it should be similar to the cusco, I'd be more worried about fitment as some ebay bars don't seem to fit all that well.

Looks like a cool product for the $$ IF it fits correctly. I'm pretty sure I recognize the screen name Himni Racing from one of the forums (TeamFC3S or NoPistons maybe), so I think the company is active in the RX7 community. Maybe you can contact them and they can answer your questions.

answer to your question is yes it helps with handling. But this does not fit the vert model. Also this will help in the handling department as long as you have a working suspension to start with. Best to freshen up the entire suspension with a hyper flex kit and new shocks and springs. No reason to start installing strut bars and sways if the rubber holding your suspension in place is old and dry rotted.

The mounting brackets for that ebay one dont look beefy enough. I noticed a difference with my cusco lower arm bar.

I have the Himni Racing lower arm bar. It was nice and easy to install. Doesnt cost half as much as the Cusco bar and it doesn't have the pivot bolts. A better design I think. It's built really well, the welding on it is insane. Made a huge difference in my handling. Shipped quickly i think it was around 4 days, also it came with free candy!!! Probly cheaper because of the none over-sea chargers n such. Badass bar, I like it. That pic does make the brackets look a bit weak, but they're pretty beefy in real life.

You don't need to spend alot to get a lower arm bar.

I made one myself and posted a writeup.
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/how-build-lower-arm-bar-under-%2415-448638/

It does make a difference. I made a pototype out of aluminum and it promply bent about 20 degrees in the middle where it was formerly straight, this shows that it's needed. I noticed that with the bar I seem to be getting better front end grip than before, the turn in is better and the steering feel is slightly better. It's a worthwile thing to do. It's also plenty strong. If I could get the car high enough, I could probably use the bar to do chin ups on. I admit that a Mazdaspeed style bar is probably better, it's probably only a 20% or so increase from what I have, but you could make one of those yourself too.

Too bad that bitch doesn't answer any questions on eBay... :P
I was looking for three turbos worth over $3,000, but I got no reply - go figure.
They just lost a $3,000+ sale. :P

Ted, come on. We've talked a few times on the forums & PM's. I would of thought that I'd deserve better then being a "bitch" LOL

I'm sorry if no one got back to you if you sent a email(s). With only 4 people here, it's hard to keep up sometimes. We get between 65 to 100 + emails a day and sometimes some get over looked. Again, for that, I apologize. Trust me, any question a rotor head has is important to us.

BTW: Thanks for the good words about the brace guys. Allot of thought went into the design. The criteria was, adjustable, functional, STRONG, precise with direct bolt on & a low price. I expect nothing but the best for my own RX-7s & anything we make available to other rotor heads, will be kick ***. This is my word. If it's not good enough for me, it's not good enough for you. Many of the guys who have bought the braces latter got back to us saying how happy they are with it. That means allot to us!

here's some info it as the pics don't do it justice. The machined center is just over 1 full inch in diameter. The steel fate portion of the end piece is almost a 1/4" slab and the threaded part is 3/4" round. More than enough to do it's job.

I saw that a concern was the end piece being strong enough. No doubt! They are bigger then the end pieces found on the cusco bar.

Back from the dead BUT I recieved my Himni bar this morning and have to say I am very impressed by the qaulity!

I attach some pics to show just how robust this bar and its welds are. The unit is light considering the size and length of the bolts/shaft.

I am very happy with it and when I get some nice weather here to install it I will give my feedback on performance.

Great job Himni!!
