antenna
is there any way to lower the antennea without having a radio in the car? somebody hacked up my radio wiring, and i bought a car cover, and it obviously won't fit with the antennea up.
As per the FAQ: LtBlue/Yellow= -power ant trigger
You could make yourself a little switch or ignition relay for that... Check the FAQ, there's a relay example in it for that.
If you think those rubber ducky antennas from autozone/napa get better reception, you had something wrong with your stock antenna.
Plus... the retractable antenna looks great when the car is off. No autozone parts on my baby... short of like.... Sylvania headlights.
Also, I have epilepsy and your signature almost gave me a seizure.. You might want to change it.
Yeah my antena motor was fried when i got my car... but the rubber ducky gets better reception than oem, I had another fc guy try it.
P.S How about a warning label
:-o EPILEPSY AND SEIZURES READ THIS NOTICE BEFORE YOU LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING SIGNATURE :-o
A very small portion of the population have a condition which may cause them to experience epileptic seizures due to viewing certain signatures on rx7club.com
If you think you may suffer from epilepsy, DO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK!

also, he may have disconnected the wiring harness for the antenna in the hatch area to keep it from going back down.
Its on the left when you open the hatch, back where the tail lights are, 4 pin connector.

my antenna doesnt go down. when i turn off the radio i hear the motor come on but the antenna stayes up, must be off the gear or guide track. is there any way to take it out with the antenna extended?
Have someone switch the radio off with you at the antenna gently pushing and turning the top of the mast. You may be able to engage the mast's gear cable to the motor. If this doesn't work, you have broken cable pieces in there and need to take the power antenna out and open it up.
