Is your power antenna shot???

If your power antenna is shot, Radio shack as a great replacement that is almost stock looking. You can use the original mazda antenna bracket for mounting the new antenna too....and the antenna is less that $50.00....and it works like a charm...you may want to consider this if you want an antenna that goes up and dowm...it better than buying a new motor or mast (if broken)......fyi..............cjf................. ............

Yeah I need a new one for two reasons:

1)When I bought the car, it didn't work anyways, and it was partly bent, so even if the motor still works, no up and down.

2)Some idiot decided to mess with it when I was at work......stole my 76 antenna ball too

Oh if you wanna hear a funny story about antenna *****...I was at my school one day and there are two twin sisters who have matching black Jettas that they got for their B'day and had only had them for about 3 days. The only cosmetic difference on the outside was that one had a "Disco Ball" antenna ball, and the other didnt have one. Well one day i was walking down the road past these cars, one was parked in front of the other, an i got an evil idea. Thats right you guessed it, i switched the antenna ball. After school that day, they couldnt figure out why the remotes on their keychains were unlocking "eachothers" cars(even though they were unlocking their own). What was funnier was after they decided it was some sort of malfunction, they got in their cars and their keys wouldnt work! Man it was hilarious! After a while they figured it out (not after a crowd had formed with all the locking and unlocking going on, the cars honk each time theyre locked!). Boy were they embarassed...oh man, i can wait to do it again if i ever see matching cars again.

Arrow OR U CAN,......

Or u can go to mazdatrix.com and order the $20 universal rubber ant. .I installed this on my gen.2 about a year ago, when the mast got bent/broken,since putting this on I get better reception and personally it looks better!
