Sweetness.

I'm way to lazy to paint anything, that's why during my rebuild I just soaked, scrubed, and lightly cleaned and called it good

Not my engine. It was a build I did about six months ago.

I coated all the intake manifolds the gray colour, and filled in the lettering on the upper intake manifold black, and then polished the fins around the lettering. It looks alright... The car moves alright for an N/A.

if you want the engine detailing to stand out more take a sanding block and sand off the lettering and protrusions, so far it looks good.

after having my engine out 4 times i think i will just lightly clean the parts and toss it back together, i'm getting tired of repainting everything.

felixwankel88, that motor looks damn good! I am in the process of rebuilding my motor and plan on painting it red and black, with red anodized intercooler and front strut bar.

If I hadn't have been so lazy and painted mine I would've done dark gunmetal and black for everything so it'd be really dark in the engine bay.
