Am I too tall for this racing seat?
I just got the cobra imola seat off someone else for a decent price.
But my problem is, my head hits the top of the seat.
Which is fine if im just relaxing, but what if I get in a wreck or sudden stop. That is going to hurt as there is no padding on that edge.
And are there such things as head padding, I'd rather not invest in the 2200 dollar seets with the head harness..
Thanks.

I have custom brackets and cobra manufactured side bracket mounts.
*EDIT*
I think he knows this is for my ride is for racing purposes which requires a helmet.
But I'm also, seeming hopelessly, trying to keep it streetable.

You should be able to keep it streetable (or at least easily converted between street/track) if you race in one of the lower-level classes and don't care about being competitive.

If you do not feel safe in the seat, I recommend just getting a different seat... but try it out before you buy it.
I guess it would appear that way if you don't have a clue, lol.
