Anyone make custom seat mounts?

Has anyone made custom seat mounts? I randomly picked up seats out of a 2005 Mazda 3 for a good price, but now have to figure out how to mount them. beats my ricer racing seats by a mile! Any tips for properly making these things? I have access to a full fabrication shop...

I bought a set of aftermarket RX7 seat brackets to mount my RX8 seats, which had NOTHING in common with the RX7 set-up (other than they were sized to fit the floor). Be prepared to shave off all the mount points down to the slide-rails….

Techno Toy Tuning makes seat rails for the FB for mounting bucket seats that mount on the side. I'd take a look at those for an idea.

Planted brackets from eBay are what I used for my 3 seats. Took the rails off, it's a good fit, right where I want it.

i cut off the mounts from oem seats and then mount them back in. weld them together just using skinny rails from ace hardware, then unbolt the mounts and weld that piece to the bottom of the rails on whatever seat im trying to put in. has worked for the 4 times ive done it
