well what i would do is to check ALL of your ground wires, clean, inspect, and replace where neccesary. rx7s are known for bad ground wires. than try it, if ti still does it take the alt off and have it tested....

RX7's are known for 15+ year old ground wires. I would hardly call them bad. My ground wires are 21 years old and still work.

you can get some used stock lines which or stainless ones from racingbeat, corksport, or you can make your own. the stainless ones are $100+

Thats what im thinking. I just hope the amp or stereo system is not wired incorrectly where it can back-feed the warning lights. Can't see how this could work though.

I got my SS braind Oil lines from mazdatrix. Easy to put in, one of the lines rubbed on the radiator support bracket so I had to bent the bracket slightly but other then that. They are great. I spent in think $130 for both.

I also have a short OEM brand new oil line that was on my car for about 5000 miles. If you want I can sell you that one for about $60 plus shipping. I paid $140 at the dealer for it. I know im going to get flamed for that but I needed a line that day and the dealer was the only one that could get me one the next day without paying a large over night shipping charge.
