alternator upgrade
OK.. so my alternator is kinda loose and making a squeaking noise... this has happened to me twice already...
I'm getting kinda tired of messing with it...
so how can i fix this for good?
i was thinking dual alt pulley?
or just upgrade to FD alternator?
also my volts drops when i stop my car... I'm guessing this is a sign of the alternator going bad?

Not sure but I think the squeak is bad alternator bearings, a loose belt, or a glazed worn out belt. Solution: inspect (and possibly replace) and tighten belts per Haynes manual or Factory Service Manual (download link in forum FAQ). Check squeaky noise vs. alternator diagnosis guide. The Haynes manual might have one or you can do a forum search or google search.
The volt dropping on stops means your alternator is getting old and weak. Eventually you'll have to replace it, but it's probably still usable for a long time. Unless the bearing is bad. Or unless you're not getting 12 volts before you start your car.
If you replace the alternator then be sure to save the warranty stuff. Replacements are notorious for being a gamble. All you can do is hope and if the replacement fails after a few days/weeks/months then just try again. Though you can hunt down a reputable mom and pop alternator shop to improve your odds. Normal stock alts don't squeak so you don't need an upgrade. But a lot of people do it - especially if they need more power for their upgraded sound system - because the stock alt can barely handle the stock electronics.

That Is kinda Normal as long as they don't drop below the12.8v Range and should b around 13.2 - 14v during regular driving, my rio sits at 13.8 crusing with my 2000 watt amp and drops to 13.1 - 13.0 volts when i come to a stop .

If you have a loose belt, you're going to see drop in voltage, adjust the belt and see if the squeak goes away and that the voltage gets higher, if not you might have a bad belt or the alternator is on it's way out.

but this is what the write up says
The battery grounds in two locations; at the driver shock tower and at the starter. The shock tower ground is secured with a M6x1.0 bolt directly into the inner sheet metal of the shock tower. The starter ground is connected to the starter mounting bolt that passes through the bellhousing of the transmission.
