I'm nearly finshed installing my newly rebuilt street ported motor. The radiator and oil cooler will be done being flushed on Tuesday, then I'll be ready to fire it up.

Only problem I see is I don't know where one of the vaccum hoses goes. I replaced all of the hoses, cut them all to the exact length as the original, but the hose in question is at the base of the oil filler neck.

Is this just a breather tube that hangs straight down or does it go somewhere that I'm not seeing?

 

err, which hose are you referring to? You're goign to have to be a little more specific than "this hose here" and not give a pic or anything...

most probably your purge control valve. i believe thats the only one on the neck itself. could also be a line to the charcoal canister. PCV is my best guess.

 

I got it. It was the purge control valve I just didn't see it. It was right there in the FSM. Duh!!!
