So it no longer sounds like the bac, acv, or anything of the sort. Sounds like it's coming from the other side of the intake manifold. And i believe that this sole "noise" is responsible for my misfiring/shitty gas mileage/hot restart issues...

I'm thinking the buzzing is coming from the injector. It sounds intermittent. and the buzzing could best be described as an electrical zapping noise that resembles a very loud bee. The noise is more prominent when the car is in neutral, but not only then.

Anyways, any ideas? could it actually be the injector? any way to tell? is this common?

maybe i'm wrong and it is in fact coming from the disconnected bac and aws solenoid... is there anything else around that general vicinity that could be buzzing?

Its probably one of the rats nest solenoids.

What happens if you adjust your TPS? I do recal some sort of buzzing while adjusting tps.

man, you've had the weirdest problems with this car....

I've never heard of an injector buzzing, but if you think that your problems are injector related, why don't you pull them and get them cleaned? It's only about $20 per injector, and then you KNOW that they're not the problem.

 

yup, i know that's a good thing to do anyway, but its the whole pulling the uim off that's gonna drive me nuts.

 

Well i'm not positive anymore that the injectors are the culprit. But what's around that area that could be buzzing intermittently?
