Exclamation Air bleed socket o ring replacement?

we are suppose to replace the orings on the air bleed sockets correct? i just removed the long one that goes underneath the secondary injectors. i tried to remove the oring but that thing is on there good! seems hard like plastic haha. so i wanna make sure that is replaceable.
any tips on removing them without damaging the air bleed socket? like something to soften the rubber? im letting it soak in wd 40.

You got the diffusers our with out breaking? Nice, that doesn't always happen. My suggestion is to just get one of them off with a little pick. Once you have that one you can get a set of four from napa and then just cut the others off CAREFULLY.
OR
If some one out there knows the size of the O ring POST IT and then you can just cut them all off

yea i took them of without breaking surprisingly. i got the rubber (plastic-was so brittle haha) off and went to advance and replaced with. i think it was 11"x11/32"x3/16". i would have to check again.seem to look ok after i put them on.

if they dont seal it would cause a vacuum leak right?

You should replace the rings. If not, then you could have a vacuum leak. This is becoming a more common leak spot.

I'm not quite sure how the air bleed o'rings, can cause a air leak. The last time I looked, there was a grommet at the bottom of the fuel injector where it mates with the housings, and that stops airleaks. Whatever.
