mine used to smoke black, but now it smokes white. It only does it if I run it really hard though.
I hope that when I get my new exhaust it'll stop.

white=coolant Thats bad, very bad. Is it also doing it when you first start it for the day??? Your coolant seals may be on the way out.

If it is black it is fuel-related, the car is running way rich, or not combusting properly.

See now, the engine in the 87 I bought smokes like a freight train. It isn't really bad unless you rev it. Then there is enough black smoke to get my car confused with a forest fire.

I figure on getting it Referbished.

Good luck with the rides guys.

Halo

mine lasted a couple months once it started smoking. They had to stop the auto X a couple times to let the track clear. Hehehe. I am still waiting to do a rebuild. If you take it easy it may last longer.
