Advice on Pulsation Damper
This morning I was replacing the pulsation damper in my 1987 rx7. If you have to do it again make sure to disconnect the mattery so that the computar resets. I dindt do this and when I tried to run the engine again it was hesitating in all the RPM range, from 1500 to 7000 RPM. I thought it was a vacuum leak or something. After a while I decided to reset the computer and it worked fine. I dont know if this problem only happened to me but thats a piece of advice to all of you guys that will try to replace the pulsation damper.
PS: also advisable to change the injector's o-rings.

generally when you're working with gasoline you want to disconnet all sources of power, ie battery.. sparks start cars on fire, then burn down garages, and cause a general mess. I thought it was common sense to disconnect the battery and have a fire extinguisher around anytime you're working on a car.

I agree with using new crush washers, but if that does not happen I recommend roughing both sides of the old washer with sandpaper and then heating with a soldering torch...I have done this and they seem to work fine.
