advice on jdm engine suppliers

just wondering if anyone has some advice on where to get a jdm engine and tranny. I have been jacked around by a company in california for the last couple of weeks, and am getting tired of the run-around.

thanks in advance:

We have an S5 JSPEC sitting here in the shop with tranny. Probably one of the best condition ones I have ever seen come in actually. Has turbo, IC, most of the goodies from what I can see here. Tranny shifts easy, don't remember the numbers off the top of my head but it had very good compression (we send them back if they don't).

Oh, we're CorkSport by the way.

$1351 plus shipping.

Here's what's missing: ECU, AFM, wiring harness is cut right before the AFM plug, pressure sensor, mose of the wiring harness is there looks like it was cut at the firewall. Nothing that isn't missing off almost every other JSPEC out there.

Is JDM Source a good place to get a motor from? I'm lookin for a T2 motor, and I stumbled onto their site. Have you had any past experiences with them APEXDRIFT?

Well, I'll have to call them up and see what it's gonna run. In the mean time... any feedback on the place itself? Generally decent quality?

Yeah, but it might make it up in the exchange...

the Canadian dollar is weaker than the US dollar.

Hey, Eagle Pm me on your Jspec though if you still have it. I was looking for a S4 to rebuild, but might consider yours if shipping is decent.

Yeah, but customs fees on 'hazmat' stuff is rediculous usually. So goodbye exchange benefit!

The jspec was sold to this guy but we have no problem getting more if anyone needs one. Just lemme know.
