advice :(

ok, i have a 91 na, needs the engine rebuilt. Was planning on spending ~2500$ on t2 engine and all the goodies needed (j-spec) to run it. This was a 'over time' plan.

Well i wrecked my turbo vw (silverado hit me... and she drove it away) and the insurance totaled the car out, for an awsome 10,000$!!!

The guy who i bought my red 7 from has a white one that he wants 3,500$ for, in very good condition, GLX, rims, system, exhaust... no performance mods really.

The woman (awsome woman who will get under the car with me!!!) says we should rebuild my red one, invest about 4,000$ into it, and not buy the other 7... i kinda wanna buy the other 7 and still do the 'over time' thing with the red one...

what do i do?! i want to get the other one for a daily driver, and use the red one for auto cross...

(womans opinion comes first... but i can use this to argue!)

you don't want your race car as a daily in the sense its always better to have a daily in my opinion specially when you need to go get parts for the other car. a nice running vehicle is always a good plan.

It *was* a sleeper beetle, me and the gf at the time picked it out, GTI ecu, engine, trans, all it lacked was the later models 4motion awd.

Fun as hell to take to the track and run with miatas... sure it was a bug, but i laughed so hard when i would leave most cars settin on the freeway or out handle civics.

The current woman loved the car too, i have pictures of it after it was towed... ill upload some.

But im addicted to forced induction now, so i kinda have an itch to scratch...
