adjusting wastegate on bnr turbo?
im trying to lower my boost down to 5 or 6 psi . i have my boost controller all the way down and its still going to 9psi or so . i tried to adjust the wastegate but idk which way to turn the actuator tighten it or loosen it? i know i sound like a noob i dont want to want to mess anything up . i have a bnr 4 btw
I believe the rating on the spring will set the lowest waste gate release pressure. Installing an electronic boost controller will not circumvent this minimum.
I'm not a professional, so it would be wise to let some one confirm what I believe.

Adjust it so you are extending the length of the actuator arm. It's going to be a guess and check process. If the arm is already adjusted so there is no pre-load on the internal spring, you cannot adjust it any lower. Like ^he said. Worst case, wire the wastegate open if you are afraid of driving it un-tuned.

i tried both ways to extend it made it longer to boost up but still went up to 9 and i herd a rattle at idle maybe the flapper . and shortening it made it more responsive but still went up in boost to 9ish. and what do u mean wire it shut? i got a manual boost controller for now

Any boost controller, electric or mechanical, will only allow you to raise boost over spring pressure. Not lower it.
