I filled up the coolant after changing the water pump and the add coolant buzzer goes off like every 2 minutes for a max of like 30 seconds. Are there bubbles in my system or wha? someone help me!

 

could be a faulty sensor.--here comes the dumb question,is it completely filled.Did you burp the system?If worst comes to worst,disconnect that damn thing and ground it out.

When filling the coolant, did you let your car run?

You have to keep the car running until it is full. When you cant fill it anylonger, it is done, put the cap on it.

 

You might want to resolder the sensor. Gets all crusty and **** after a long time.

 

Mine is being extremely annoying too..I used the bleed screw when filling..but the damn thing only comes on when I go around corners, then goes right back off.

If you have the car running while you fill up the coolant, how can you use the screw to get air out? If you have it open while its runing wont coolant leak all over. Can you just fill it up that way with it closed and then turn car off, then open screw to let some air out?

 

Haynes or the FSM should have it documented on the proper way to fill it.
