Abs ?!?!

If I install the ABS bypass kit from Mazdatrix, can I cut the wires leading to the ABS pump so that I can take the pump out as well?

Thanks!

of course the pump comes out.. I'm sure it has a plug though... no need to cut.

why buy a stupid kit when you can just rip it out and convert it to Non.Abs by yourself?

Cause its alot cheaper and easier. I did it the way you did. Pulled everything out of a jyard non abs car. But if I could have done it an easier way I would have.

You can unclip the harness from the ABS pump, and then pull it thru the firewall and remove the abs computer.

Yea....there is a good thread on here about removing the rats nest. Search for "Bare Block" in the 2nd gen section.

as for removing the ABS.. You dont need a kit for that. All you do is take out the ABS pump..and the ABS computer. which is right next to your ecu. Find out which brake lines go where from the pump you took out and put them together. easy as pie. I had it done in like 1 hour.
