91 T2 issues

a friend of mine have a 91 T2 and it starts, runs for a little time and quit and starts again but it quits. he change the AFM, and i check for cracks in the TID and theres nonelooked in the IC for cracks and nothing and i looks for any leaks and nothing. checks for leaks in the IM and nothing. have new spark plugs and wires so my question is what else to check? it have to be something that is making the car act weird. somebody had this problem before? thanks

It could simply be the idle setting.
If the basic idle bleed is too low, it will stall at the end of the warm up cycle.

Back up the idle bleed screw (on the BAC) & see if that helps.

does he have an safc? If he does you may want to restore back to factory defaults. Mine was doing that same thing and finally after checking everthing I reset it and bam!

Check the on board diagnostics see what flash codes its giving you. I had a friend that had a 90 GTU that did that (run for a min then kill) and the flash code was a 37 (I think). That is the code for a bad oil metering pump. So, he swapped out the OMP and it still did it. Little did he know that the code is the same code for a bad computer. He swapped the computer and all of his problems were solved.
