91 NA smoking ?
I have a 1991 NA and it has a major smoking problem. It was running fine and never really smoked at all except on cold days when it was first started up. Now all of a sudden I start it up and it looks like a smoke machine, it smokes so much you cant even see anything. So my question is this, could it be something little like an over oiling OMP or does my engine need rebuilt? Oh, I forgot to metion it still runs fine, it doesnt lack power or anything.
thanks
Mike

I have an 87' N/A which has a major smoking problem, and trouble starting if it sits for over a day. it also runs strong. Anyway, I was told that it has bad water seals and will need a rebuild. It sounds like the same problem.

Is the smoke white? Or does it have a "blue-ish tint" to it?
white smoke=bad water seals
blue smoke=bad oil control rings
If the smoke is white and clears up after about 20 seconds, then its probably your water seals. You have two options.
1) Try the "block weld" trick. Search the forum for this.
2) Rebuild time.
I'd try #1 before #2
