90 GTU accel problems

i've got a 1990 GTU that i have just put a new stage 1 clutch in along with a RB header, pre-silencer and cat elemination (straight pipe/ test pipe), and Borla cat-back exhaust. The car has 75000 miles on the engine and ran great before (except the clutch) and now has problems when accelerating. it seems like whenever it wants a check engine comes on, the RPM gauge hits 0 and it sputters when accelerating. it will still run and what not but it's just not quite right. any suggestions???

Pull the codes. Sounds like limp mode.

You are probably going to need this as well.

ok. i have the results of the trouble code reading. one of them i saw coming but the other.... not in a million years. they are codes #2- crank angle sensor (which is why the car only cranks sometimes) and #17 O2 senor (the one i saw coming). Now i have two questions. #1. will the failing O2 sensor cause any real problems #2. what do i do about the intermittently failing crank angle sensor?
