88 S4 all STOCK...Where is the INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR LOCATED ON THE DYNAMIC CHAMBER?

I looked in the FSM and the drawing is not clear enough...it shows the general area of location but I don't see anything....the troubleshooting guide in the FSM showed that a possible cause of a no start....(tried everything else)...thanks...

mine was unplugged forever and my car started and ran fine. But if you must know its a small thingy under the BAC tha has two prongs stickin out. Of course if its plugged in it will have a couple wires going to it.

I wonder if a malfunction in that unit could cause a no start? I think I will unplug mine and see what happens....

The intake temp sensor is located on the back end of the dynamic chamber. Two wire connector. The sensor is pretty tiny.

Back end...? you mean like between the firewall and the Chamber ? If so, no wonder I could not find it...the FSM looks like its on the drivers side close to the Oil fill tube....geeeez..

Harley, stand on the right side of the car. Now look at the dynamic chamber. Find the BAC. Now look down. The big solenoid valve to the right is your air bypass valve, look just forward of it, below the BAC, and follow the small wiring bundle that splits off from the air bypass valve's wiring. Little bitty white connector. See it?

You could also read that little bugger out from the ECU to see if it's any good, lol...

You install your "extra fuel injection port" yet?

No...No extra fuel injection port just yet....I did download the FSM chaper on Fuel and Emissions and read some of the troubleshooting on no starts....one item mentioned to check that Intake Air Temperature Sensor as a possible cause of not starting....I think I will just disconnect it...perhaps the intermittent open or ground fault is that little bugger....whatch thaink....Eh ?
