87gx ---> 88gxl?
Is it possable to do this?
All i am really looking at doing is Power Windows/locks.
Disc brakes for F/R and any other misc stuff i think might be usufull or need.
If i was to take the PW/PL and brakes off of the GXL how hard it be to install in the 87 GX?
Also the GXL has a 5 lug set up correct?
Could i swap bascally the brake set up and everything from the GXL to the GX? I don't know if this is a dumb quesion or not but just looking for a little something extra.
Thanks

After stripping my gxl and replacing alot of the interior components from it to my N/A, I noticed a couple of things.
The N/A has all the power connections that hook up to the GXL components. That is to say, when you see an electrical connector that doen't seem to be hooked up to anything in your N/A, it probably is a hook up for some upgrade your car didn't originally come with. Like power windows.
After I swapped the door interoir only there seems to be no power to the lights that sit on the GXL interior door trim even though I used the connector that was exactly the same on the gxl.
My suggestion is that before you even think about swapping the power window/mirror stuff you figure out a way to see if there's power to the empty electrical connections first. (in my case there might have been power at one time but not any more for whatever reason) If there's not any power then once you find out how to get power to the existing connections, then start to hook up your upgrades.
Rx7 electrical schemes are not an easy ride I asure you. And there is high potential for burning stuff up.
The GXl does have a 5 lug set up and bigger brakes. But I haven't got around to swapping this out. So I can't help you there.
