Project Karl New fc, update/progress post

well unlike before i would post up every little thing i did to my skittle, that seemed to agrevate some peeps espacally some mods, so im gonna put all my progress, on this one post and just update on this one post, so may i please ask this please keep this on topic and dont ***** it up, i dont want this one moved as it will be updated each time i do something.. with that said here is the info on the new fc .. well after the skittle caught on fire, i planned to get a new fc next spring, but this deal on a 88GXL came up and i couldent refuse, so i picked up a 88GXL with 141k miles, and the coolent seals where smoked, but it was the prefect new project car, hence it had a running engine well kinda running so i new all the electronics were good, my original plan was to build a prettty crazy engine for it but, i decided to just put the skittle's engine in it for now..

Here are some pics from the day i got it the 10-19-05

HE he the lsd worked

atleast your staying busy ,, im in the same boat 2 fcs, i semi working engine , one needs to get trans planted into the other one. but i still need to rebuild the engine anyway as after 188k miles the coolants seals are on the way out .. still has 90/90 compression though. anyway dustin keep working just take your time and do it right the first time

dustin, I am truly honored that you named your car after me. I think this car looks like a better platform to begin on, as it wasn't made from 20 cars. Good luck. It seems like you need to come over and do my car. I ran out of money to throw at it. The wife thinks she can spend spend spend.

Original Equipment Front 205/55-16
Original Equipment Rear 225/50-16
16x7, 5 lug, 4-1/2, offset 18

Seems like an offset that'd work okay in the rear since they're tucked in a bit stock, but front that'd stick out like crazy.
