7's been resurected

Bought an '88gxl with a '90 s5 engine for 300 bucks, would only run above 3k rpm.
-Contaminated fuel system, so I started at the tank and cleaned all the way to injectors.
-couple new parts needed, wires plugs thermostat fluids fuel pump filters and gaskets and uhh fuses.

Got all that sorted out, got her idling then she dies after warm up, after I noticed the front coil was loose, tightened her down and now...

850 idle, runs fairly smooth too, winds up nicely and sounds Damn decent.

I'm effing stoked! I cant wait to put her on the road!

Some electrical gremlins still exist, might definatly want to run some new grounds.

Thx for all the help with the engine! Now for the body work.

Gonna rip off the sagging trims and clean up the paint underneath.

Battery alone is about $150. You're gonna need a good lawyer, cause that was a STEAL!!!

Nice job

Didn't come with the battery, I robbed it from my yoda. I think it suits the 7 better.

Total invested money hmm...
140 plugs and wires
30 for carb clean stuff
10 paint
30 New vacuum lines.
30 filters
5 bucks to steam clean the fuel cell
Free s5 fuel pump, spark position sensor thing, fuses.

Still needs: rims, wipers, royal purple, stereo wiring, ignition, gauges.

Today after work Il hook up the 56 ports, my hose arrived
Il post a video of her running after I get some premium gas in her and idle set better.

Thx for comments, I couldn't have done it without this site.

And yep Il check aaroncakes DIY on grounds, I read it once seems solid, will apply soon.
