Smile Before and After pics of my car since October 2003

Here are some pix of befores and afters on my car...owning her since October...I wanted to share this with the forum to show how much you guys have helped in improving my car and its health...

thank you

Here you can see the front wheel is bent underneath the car...so I had that replaced

I also replaced the entire rear end because of the bent axle...

When I picked up the car the engine bay looked like this...

Now it looks like this...

Then after the recommendation from Inittab and 82Transam the suspension was replaced...shocks, struts, springs, bushings and tires...

I also had the brake lines, front calipers and master cyl replaced...rotors will be soon

Also had the stereo and all speakers replaced...

Along the way I've done little things like the idler arms, power steering, glass sunroof, headlights and OMP rebuild...

Plans on the car are as follows...
Fender and Bumper repair, full paint job, more interior restoration, more engine bay cleaning, tranny swap and other little things

If you want to see more you can visit my site at... http://hroman.slac.com/rx7

Anyone else have some before and after pics of when they picked it up...when and how it looks now?

I don't have before pics, but I've owned my car for just over a year, and I've done to it:

plugs, wires, cap, rotor
alternator
AC compressor converted
Differential service
Coolant service
All rust removed
wheel wells bedlined
one dent bondo'ed
new fuel filter
Bonez racing intake + K&N
modified Nikki rebuilt twice
Glass sunroof off GSL SE
repainted all trim
new glovebox (long story)
new dome light lens
New drivers window crank

Still left to do:
Repaint car
recover seats/find different ones
rims of some sort I can't roll like this anymore
More power like everyone else. I'm thinking for now turbocharge it, flywheel, weber. At least until my 12a dies. I mean it's lasted 22 years I'm sure it'll last 2 more until I can afford a complete engine swap.
I want a back seat in place of bins, but I can't find one for less than half what I paid for my whole car. In my head I can't do it. I think thats it.. I'll throw up a picture tomorrow when it's light out, I've been meaning to.

edit: I lied I do have before pics notice that big nasty dent. And the other thing that gobbles away $

That is great man, that is a very nice way to say thanks. Not too many people take the time to say it.

I got mine from ebay for $80 I did have to buy another front right line from mazdatrix for $25 because "someone" kinked mine upon install making the car veer to the right whenever I applied the brakes

after installing the new line the car brakes straight and safe now

Here is the link I bought it from

Here's one I found looking for the link above for cheaper

hey 82silverrx7, is that your Jeep too? I also have a jeep and a first gen, thats the main reason for the decline of my 7. been paying too much attention to the jeep these days.

oh well, one day i'll be able to do a post like this and have before, during, AND after pics

Yes, the Jeep is the reason I bought my 7, it only gets 10 mpg.. I've been the complete opposite, I haven't bought anything else for the Jeep and it's sitting in the garage with a broken driveshaft while I'm out looking at a turbo kit for my 7 lol. The Jeep is still my baby though

strange how this **** works out.... everytime i think about selling the RX-7 i just go for a drive in it and then i can't. That and the fact that i couldn't even get a decent set of tires for the jeep with what i could get for the RX-7! (unless i parted it out, no thanks it;s not in THAT bad of shape!)
