6PI, searched, need a little clarification.

Stealing an image (below) from one of the threads I searched. Trying to remove this punk.

Could somone please just use MS Paint and circle the retaining pin? Also, any tips on removing it would be appreciated. I thought I had the correct one, but it doesn't want to budge. I'm much better with computers than wrenches, so I appologize if this is an "easy" question for most of you. Flame after you edit the photo, thanks. :P.

Thanks in advance.

What extacly are you trying to remove? If it's just the actuators then remove the two 10mm nuts and take it off, it might be stuck pretty good but there isn't anything holding it on. If you are tying to remove the entire system then you are in for a decent sized project.

Remove the two circled nuts (10 mm of the top of my head) and the whole actuator should slide out towards you. Be careful when replacing it (if you are) the studs can snap off fairly easily (ask me how I know...)
Why are you removing it, btw?

I got the two nuts off, no problem. The problem is getting the retaining pin out, its in that black plastic rectangular piece near the middle of the picture.

Just trying to get the actuators off, I know my 6PI isn't functioning so I thought I'd check the stuff that is easier to reach. Don't have the time right now to go full-on manifold removal.

If the retaining clip doesnt pop off with a flat head pushing it off the shaft, shake it for a minute itll come off. the rectangle just slides off that shaft

Those two nuts should be the only thing holding the assembly on. As for removing the black piece, its held on with a small clip that pops off, as mentioned.

There's something in this area holding it on... it jiggles around the studs where the 2 10mm bolts are, so I know it isn't stuck there.
