460's and their duty cycle.....

Has anyone ever tried to monitor their duty cycle on stock 460's? I want to know if I can make some gadget to measure this for me. I know they sell the monitors but they are like 100+ bucks so I want to ask if anyone knows how to do it with something more simple like a home made type monitor.

I've been looking for something like that for ages.

Unless you want something permanent, you can use a DMM that measures duty cycle. I'm looking at one in an Australian electronics catalogue that's only A$90 (US$60).

Yes, there are quite a few DMM's that can measure duty cycle as a percentage, my mate has a pretty good one... works really well.

I wished I put it on my turbo N/A motor with 460cc injectors before I blew it up.

Oscilloscope. I've never measured though since I have had no reason to.
